M-BAN, The Honest Company collaboration on environmental justice briefs coming in 2023
The Mom and Baby Action Network (M-BAN), The Honest Company, and the Environmental Justice working group partners are collaborating on series of environmental justice briefs due in 2023. The briefs will discuss the impact certain chemicals and additives can have on pregnant people. Ingredients used in everyday products may negatively impact maternal and infant health outcomes as well as exacerbate the inequities experienced by marginalized populations based on product marketing, regulations, and accessibility.
Heather McKenney, the Head of Toxicology and Product Safety at the Honest Company and a member of the M-BAN Environmental Justice working group, is co-authoring one of the briefs. Hear more about this collaboration with M-BAN in the video below.
