Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), including preeclampsia, remain a leading driver of maternal morbidity and mortality and disproportionately impact Black women and other communities experiencing inequities in care. The HDP Accelerator: Innovative Solutions in the Field brief brings together the collective insights of clinicians, researchers, community leaders, advocates, policymakers, funders, and people with lived experience to identify actionable, equity-centered opportunities for change.
The brief highlights three priority areas for near-term action: building capacity across the care continuum, advancing policy and payment alignment, and strengthening consumer and professional education. It offers a roadmap for partners across clinical, community, policy, and philanthropic sectors to move from shared priorities to implementation, collaboration, and measurable impact.
